How Clear Path Consultation came to be
For over 15 years, this has been a consistent part of my work. I have reviewed licensure applications, supported associates through the BBS process, consulted on complex cases, and helped newly licensed clinicians figure out their next steps. It was never something I set out to formalize. It was simply something I enjoyed and continued doing because clinicians kept reaching out.
Over time, this work naturally expanded through the associates I supervised and mentored through licensure. Many of the clinicians I hired went on to become licensed, open their own practices, and refer other professionals looking for the same kind of guidance and support. What began through word of mouth continued to grow across LMFTs, LPCCs, LCSWs, and clinicians throughout California seeking thoughtful direction at different stages of their careers, all without this work ever being marketed as a service.
Clear Path Consultation is an extension of that work. It allows me to offer the same level of support in a more focused and accessible way, while reaching clinicians across disciplines and throughout the state. The intention has stayed the same. To support other professionals with care, depth, and real world experience that helps them move forward in the careers they actually want.
Helping people has been a thread in my life since I was a kid. That thread became a 16 year career as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in trauma, including complex PTSD, childhood abuse, sexual trauma, traumatic grief, and the trauma carried by veterans and healthcare professionals. EMDR has been a central part of my approach for 13 years, and I have served as an EMDRIA approved consultant for the past four. As a trilingual therapist, I have also been able to support the Armenian and Latinx communities in language and in culture throughout my career.
What I bring to consultation goes beyond technique. Over the past decade, I have supervised and mentored clinicians at every stage of their careers, taught in the MFT graduate program at Pepperdine, and led trainings for organizations including Cedars Sinai, JPL, and the LA Philharmonic. I also built and lead a trauma focused group practice, which means I have lived the realities of developing, growing, and sustaining a practice. Each of these roles has reinforced the same belief, that clinicians do their strongest work when they are well supported themselves. That combination of clinical depth, teaching, and real world business experience is what I bring into every consultation conversation.

"Most clinicians are not struggling because they lack skill. They are struggling because no one ever showed them what a sustainable path actually looks like. That is what this work is for, helping clinicians turn what they already have into something that lasts."
